SOUTH DAKOTA OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to all students who meet academic requirements and attend a post-secondary institution in South Dakota.
Submitted during the summer after high school graduation.
BUILD DAKOTA SCHOLARSHIP
For specific programs of study at South Dakota Technical schools.
Open from January 1st- March 31

HELPLINE CENTER SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship for students who have completed 100 hours of service within the last year. Service has to improve the community and be unpaid such as coaching a team, serving at church, or community volunteering. Due March 2022.
ENTRINGER CLASSIC SCHOLARSHIP
Applicants must be a graduating senior from a participating school in the Michael J. Entringer Scholarship Basketball Classics or Brookings High School. Participated in high school sports for two or more years, and exhibited good sportsmanship. Participation includes athletes, cheerleaders, student managers and statisticians. Scholarship funds must be used for post-secondary education expenses the first year followings graduation. Due March 1st, 2022.
GOLDEN WEST
One student from each school is selected. Parents must reside in the Golden West area. Due March 15, 2022.
DELL RAPIDS LEGION AND AUXILIARY SCHOLARSHIP IN MEMORY OF MERLIN AND MARY SCHMIDT
$500 Scholarship to one student from St. Mary. Due to Mrs. Adrian by April 23, 2021.
PREMIER BANK SCHOLARSHIP
Student or their parent must have a checking or savings account with First Premier Bank. Must be attending college in South Dakota.
BBB STUDENT OF INTEGRITY
Three high school seniors from South Dakota will each be granted $2,000 college scholarships. These awards are not based on ethnicity, need or grade point average, but recognize students who exemplify ethical behavior and personal integrity, and who demonstrate humility, courage, compassion and respect for their peers, teachers and community - values of the Better Business Bureau. Due March 2022.
LION'S CLUB SCHOLARSHIP
Must demonstrate a legitimate commitment to community service. Due to Mrs. Adrian by April 15th.
TROY FARMER ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP
One scholarship in honor of Troy Famer will be awarded to a student from DRPS and St. Mary High School. Application due to Mrs. Adrian by April 10th. You can email it to sydney.adrian@k12.sd.us.
CATHOLIC ORDER OF FORESTERS SCHOLARSHIPS
The Catholic Order of Foresters offers a couple of scholarships for members. There are varying awards and deadlines.
ST. MARY STAFF SCHOLARSHIP
Each year, the St. Mary Staff donates towards an annual scholarship. The award amount varies each year. Due April 1, 2022.
KNIGHTS TEMPLAR SCHOLARSHIP
The Kights Templar will award several scholarships of $1,000 to South Dakota Residents who plan to attend a state Technichal Institute in South Dakota. Successful candidates are US citizens who will demonstrate financial need and the capability to complete the vocational training program selected. Due April 12, 2022.
FIRST NATIONAL BANK SCHOLARSHIP
Each applicant must be a high school senior planning to attend a South Dakota college or technical school. Students do NOT need an account with First National Bank to apply. Due March 31, 2022.
PEO SCHOLARSHIP
This $500 scholarship for the Dell Rapids PEO Chapter AD is available for senior girls to apply for. Due April 8th.
